Travel Theme: Outdoors

Months ago, as I researched traveling by reading blog posts during my lunch break at work, I discovered ‘Where’s my Backpack’ which is a great read. There is a weekly travel theme I always thought I should try out, and finding myself waiting for laundry sitting in my new house on a Saturday morning, now seems like a good time to start. Also, did I mention, the theme is Outdoors?

The outdoors to me means many things, relaxing on a beach, hiking in the mountains, amazing panoramic views. It means being out in every season, be it hot and sunny or cold and foggy. I love being outdoors, exploring outdoors, and revisiting beautiful places when I can’t go further afield. The outdoors holds vast memories for me, beautiful vistas and ones obscured by fog, but I love it all, weather it’s fertile vegetation or empty and barren, the outdoors is ever changing, and constantly intriguing.
